The checkered pattern was woven in red, and birds and two in Chinese numerals were woven with the indigo-dyed weft in ikat weaving on a yellow textile. The costume was made of a ramie cloth. Since the style of a bright yellow textile with large patterns was only used for the royal family, so this costume is assumed to had worn by sons of the royal family.
