This is a BINGATA-dyed summer costume for boys with expressive crane and sweet flag patterns on bright sky blue background. Sweet flag is an early summer plant, and its patterns are depicted along with gabions (cylindrical wicker basket made from bamboo filled with stones). The costume was worn by women or boys in and out of season.
