This is a BINGATA-dyed winter costume for women. A fully lined costume was made of bouffant and good quality of cotton. The design depicts flowing water, maple leaves and butterflies on the purple outer material, and plum blossoms and small flowers on the pink lining. A dyeing technique called OBORO type, which stylize patterns on the background, was used to dye the background.
